Construction
PSA power network switches consist of two contactors mounted on common frame and coupled by mechanical blocking which excludes closed state of both contactors simultaneously. Besides, these switches are equipped with electrical interlock preventing hazardous switching over the circuits which ensure full safety of the operations. Control circuit of the switches is adapted for controlling by means of push-buttons “START/ STOP” or command from automatic control unit. The unit shall apply a time delay at least 1s between contactors operations due to mechanical blocking operation.
Application
PSA power network switches are designed only for switching of the alternative current circuits (it is not permissible to use them in direct current circuits). PSA power network switches are designed for indoor use only in wide range of climatic conditions at the altitude up to 2000 m a.s.l. and shall be installed on stiff, vertical supporting structures not exposed to vibrations or shocks. Contactor’s current paths shall be guided vertically. Power network switches combined with automatic control unit MSR... form an automatic system of switching on reserve and find application in low voltage network ensuring continuous operation of receivers. Mains switches together with the automatics module fulfil the requirements of the PN-EN 60947-6-1standard.
