Construction
AZR devices consist of three sub-units:
– Sub-unit protecting from overload currents and short-circuit currents, including two switchdisconnectors with fuses of RBK type.
– Switching sub-unit PSA build of two contactors interlocked electrically and mechanically, situated on the same supporting frame.
– Automatics module MSR-3 including phase sequence and undervoltage sensors, time relays and control protections.
Automatic switching devices of AZR type fulfil requirements of PN-EN 60947-6-1 standard.

Operation
In the chance of AC dump, the disappearance of the phase or when the sum of three phasic tensions crosses the threshold Umax (not regulated) and the tension in one from phases will come down the below disposed threshold Umin. (of calibrated for the weight of the asymmetric tension in one phase) in the line of the basic power supply, tap-dances the switch of receivers on the line of the reserve power supply. The temporary delay can be placed by the user to 15 seconds (the time of the return tp-K4). After the return of the tension in all phases to the disposed value with the potentiometer ,, the asymmetry” on the transmitter K1 of enlarged for the value of the hysteresis in the line of the basic power supply, tap-dances the automatic switch of the system and the return to the start state. The temporary delay placed , is a sum of the return of the transmitter K1 (to 15 seconds) and the time of getting down to work of the transmitter (to 15 seconds).

Application
Automatic switching devices of AZR type are intended for switching the load circuits in case of parameters deviation occurrence, for continuous monitoring of primary supply, and for automatic return switching of the load, when the deviation has passed. Switching occurs with the time delay determined in advance, and switching on takes place in zero-current period. In case, when both supply sources (primary and reserve one) are in good order, AZR system goes into position for supply from the primary source. Switching devices of AZR type which form the system for automatic switching on of the reserve power supply are used in LV networks, ensuring the operation continuity for supplied loads. They operate in the configuration of full automatics, which does not require any supervision by personnel. AZR devices can be applied in various climate conditions and at the sites located up to 2000 above sea level. In case of voltage loss in both supply lines (i.e. primary and reserve supply line), the AZR device switches on automatically this line of supply, which first recovers the supply voltage. Time of the switch over (minimum 1 s) is set by means of adjustable time relays. In order to ensure safe and failure-free operation in the switching module, apart from electrical interlocking for contactors, there is used mechanical interlocking excluding the state, when both contactors are closed in the same time (e.g. in case of contact welding occurrence).
