Set of the SA contactor with the relay for direct start-up
Construction
SAP set consists of a contactor
and a thermal relay sensitive for phase errors, with manual resetting,
directly connected to output terminals of the contactor. The thermal
relay of 10 A class used in this set is intended for standard start-up
times in the range from 2 ÷ 10 s and for start-up currents Ir
< 6 x In.
Application
SAP sets are intended mainly for the direct startup and protection of 3-phase electrical motors with rating currents in the range from 60 A up to 400 A, switching voltage up to 690 V / 50 Hz, operating in conditions determined by the usage category AC2 / AC3. These sets should be mounted in enclosures, with current paths running vertically and on supporting structures, which are not subjected to excessive vibrations and shocks. SAP sets fulfill requirements of PN-EN 60947-4-1 standard.
