General characteristic and application
Enclosures are designed mainly for installation of control, protection and distribution apparatuses and other accessories for use in power industry, industrial automatics, machine tool, building and processing industry as well as in agriculture. B type enclosure are made of steel sheet drawpieces, sheet gauge 0,8 mm.They consists of two parts: base and cover. Mounting holes (3 or 4 depending on enclosure size) for fixing to supporting structures are located in base. Optionally it is possible to make enclosures for mounting by external fitting i.e. equipped with lugs. Holes for cable glands made of rubber, metal or plastic are located in base for inserting electrical cables. Base edge has special shape which create grip designed for fastening the cover and place for gasket. Enclosure cover is fastened by means of two or four screws located at longer side. Pushbuttons, signalling lamps, interlocking buttons can be mounted into holes which can be made in front part of the cover. Protection degree of the enclosure is IP55.
