HS-3/24, HS-3/40, HS-6/24, HS-6/40 Construction Rail brake consist of the following units: – coil, – magnetic circuit. The coil of the brake has got a winding made of coil wire DNE180, enclosed in a housing made of electroinsulating rubber. Terminals of the winding are led out to the outside of the housing with conductors of cross-section 10 mm² in rubber insulation. Magnetic circuit consists of three parts, made of magnetically soft material. These parts are as follows: – core located in the coil window, – two pole shoes made of flat bars, fixed with bolts on the both sides of the core, – four frictional inserts, narrowing the l ongitudinal magnetic gap and sliding on the rail during braking. Application Rail brakes HS-3 and HS-6 are intended for emergency braking of tramcar of 105 type. They consist of DC electromagnets, which due to working magnetic forces after excitation adhere to the rail and cause fast stoppage of the tramcar. Rail brakes HS-3 and HS-6 fulfill requirements of ZN-03/APAREL-10 internal standard. Product range ![]()
