Jobs for work under 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC for safety equipment with two Kinds of insulation: inside insulation – yellow colour, and outside insulation – userally red colour. In cause of damage outside insulation, in this way we can see inside insulation, we can't work this tool under high voltage. Safety test

method to IEC 60900

1. Testing for cold impact strnght

Testing is conducted at temperatures of -25 °C. The insulating material retains the toughness necessary to withstand knocks safety without breatking or spliting.

2. Insulation Resistance Testing

After immersing in water for 24 hours the tools are tested at 10.000 V AC for 3 minutes. Simultaneonsly any lekage current is measured. Neither a sparkover from the insulation to the bare plier head hor a breakdown trought the insulation is acceptable.

3. Dielectrica Testing

No dielectric breakdown under a presure of 20 N and temperature up to +70 °C at a test voltage of 5.000 V AC.

4. Testing of adhesireness

The adhesion of the insulation material is tested to ensure firm bonding to the basic tool - on tools atatensile load 500 N after being stored for 168 hours at +70 °C.

5. Combustibility testing

Testing should to perform at flare in blue colour and height at 20 mm for 10 secounds. After put aot flame it's necessaring to wath spread the flame in samples for 20 seconds.

Stripping Knife AM 2 type

Designed for stripping cables with large diameters and cables with multi-layer insulation, thanks to a sliding end of the blade. Equipped with insulated handle (1000 V). Blade is protected with a special cover. In case of lengthwise stripping the insulation should be notched by the tip of the knife and then the knife should be moved along the cable. Perimeter strinning is made after alongside strinning, and is performed by turning the tool, around the cable.
