To remove dirt, especially grease, from cable insulation and coating as well as from inner surfaces of cable lugs and connectors. It results in decreasing transient resistance between cable cores and lugs or connectors as well as better adhesion between cable insulation and heat-shrink tubes. The tissues are the standard accesories of 0,6/1kV heat-shrink cable joints offered by Ergom.
