Products for the Railway, Photovoltaic and US Markets
Ergom offers a wide range of essential products designed to meet the needs of the railway and photovoltaic industries. Our products are certified and comply with recognised standards.
Our railway product catalogue includes cable ties, protective braids, heat-shrink and electrical insulation tubing, cable terminals, as well as a wide selection of crimping tools and other tools.
For the photovoltaic market, we offer cable ties, various types of fastening components, cable trunking, insulated cable glands, label printers, adhesive tapes, printable profiles, label holders, signs and marking plates, heat-shrink and electrical insulation tubing, multipurpose lithium grease, cable terminals, a wide range of tools — including crimping tools, wire strippers and cable tie guns — distribution blocks, and a large selection of 1-, 2-, 3- and 5-conductor terminal blocks.
Many of our products are UL certified, demonstrating their quality and safety while also enabling them to be marketed in the United States.
Products for the Railway Industry
Thanks to testing carried out in accordance with the PN-EN 45545-2 standard, we can identify products that are suitable for use in the railway industry. These products are flame-retardant, low-smoke and low-toxicity. These properties make them suitable for use inside railway rolling stock, helping to ensure passenger safety and protect equipment.

What Ensures the Reliability of Our Products?
Ergom products stand out for their quality, reliability and safety, thanks to the thorough testing and verification of their properties and performance parameters.
Only such rigorous procedures can ensure that products installed in railway rolling stock remain reliable for many years, even under demanding operating conditions.
Cable terminals and connectors are tested for crimping force and pull-out force. At the customer's request, we can also carry out tests on cross-sectional samples of crimped terminals.

Which Products Are Suitable for Photovoltaic Applications?
Not every product is suitable for photovoltaic applications. To ensure that Ergom's product range meets the requirements of this industry, we carry out extensive testing.
Our tests focus primarily on resistance measurements, cyclic heating and temperature distribution analysis to identify areas where elevated temperatures may occur.
We also assess how our equipment performs under extreme conditions by alternately exposing it to low temperatures (e.g. -20°C) and high temperatures (e.g. 120°C). In addition, we test its resistance to changing climatic conditions, including elevated humidity.
Our laboratory is recognised by the Certification Team of the Institute of Power Engineering in Warsaw for conducting cyclic heating tests, resistance measurements, and mechanical testing of cable terminals and connectors for compliance with the PN-EN 61238-1:2004 standard.

UL-Certified Products for the US Market
Ergom's product range includes a number of UL-certified products. This certification confirms that these products meet stringent standards and requirements applicable to the US market.
In our case, UL certification applies primarily to cable terminals, connectors and enclosures.
For companies looking to sell their products on the US market, UL certification is an important requirement and may be mandatory, depending on the product and its intended application.
What Are the Benefits of UL Certification?
• Customer confidence
• Corporate credibility
• Product quality assurance
• Workplace safety
