Durable construction of ZJUN connectors

All ZJUN connectors feature a body and cover made of polyamide 6.6, a material with self-extinguishing properties in accordance with UL 94 V0 flammability standard, resistant to temperatures ranging from –25°C to +85°C.

The current paths are made of aluminium alloy coated with tin, which ensures a stable connection with low-resistance connections, even at high currents loads. The terminal screws are factory-coated with contact paste, which prevents oxidation and increases the durability of the connection during long-term operation in changing environmental conditions.

The IP20 protection rating, in accordance with the PN-EN 60529 standard, provides protection against accidental contact with live conductive parts.

Compliance with standards

The use of ZJUN connectors in installation projects ensures full compliance with the PN-EN 60947-7-1 standard, which specifies the requirements for terminal blocks in low-voltage installations (up to 1000 V AC/DC), including mechanical, electrical and temperature resistance.

The connectors also meet the requirements of technical standard IEC TS 60947-7-5:2021 (section 9.4.6) regarding short-circuit tests performed on aluminium conductors, which confirms their suitability for installations using Al wires.

ZJUN 2x50 2-track connector
Suitable for wires with cross-sections of 2.5–50 mm² and currents up to 160 A. Commonly used in machine power supply systems, production lines and distribution switchboards.
